“Freak Train,” Kurt Vile

Feeling bummed out about the lack of the expected WINTER WONDERLAND this morning, and trying to console myself by listening to this amazing song over and over again. A tip to maximize your enjoyment of this ditty: during the chorus, imagine he is singing “Ride on the freak taun! Taun-taun-taun!” and picture some guy atop a weird tauntaun. It’s almost like you’re on ice planet hoth instead of gray planet slush.
